Stop print error - Direct control

I use direct control, but when I stop printing, it fails with error "Waiting for done message from RAMPS" and I can not do anything except turn off the RPi3 power.

Re: Stop print error - Direct control

Remove [[WaitForDoneMessage]] from gcode boxes.

Hi Shahin

Re: Stop print error - Direct control

I have checkout log files look like you are receiving "Done message from RAMPS has been received" not "Waiting for done message from RAMPS" right? If so, there should not be any movement issue.

Re: Stop print error - Direct control

Sorry for the confusion. I received the message "Done message from RAMPS has been received". it doesn't have any movement. I can not do anything after that, even shutdown and reboot. Nanodlp crashes I have to turn off the power

Re: Stop print error - Direct control

Could you explain where movement works and where it does not? For example if manual movement works and etc.

Re: Stop print error - Direct control

Hi Shahin,
This error sometimes appears, there is no command that can execute. The printer must turn off the power

Re: Stop print error - Direct control

I have tried it locally on my pi. I could not reproduce it. Do you have any RAMPS wired to nanodlp?

Re: Stop print error - Direct control

I don't connect RAMPS to nanodlp. Shield Connection is disabled

Re: Stop print error - Direct control

It is not important you have shield enabled or not, you still could use keywords such as [[WaitForDoneMessage]] which freeze printer until receive Z_move_done message.
