Mirror-tier wand crafting in PoE 2 is the kind of job that starts as "I'll just make something strong" and ends with you pricing out every click like it's rent money. If you're doing this late-league, you've got to decide what "done" looks like, because perfection is a trap. Pick The Base, Don't Get Cute

When the prefixes look right, lock them and tidy the suffixes. Annulments plus omens are how you carve out space without detonating the whole item, and yes, sometimes you still lose. Then comes the painful fishing: hitting the Well of Souls with an Essence of the Abyss, a Perfect Essence of Sorcery, and an Omen of Dexterous Crystallization to chase the +Level modifiers. This is where the craft stops feeling like planning and starts feeling like weather. You might hit in ten tries, or you might be stuck feeding currency for days, so set a hard limit before you start.
Finish Clean And Know When To Stop
Ideally you end on Tier 1 Increased Cast Speed, but if your prefixes aren't basically flawless, Tier 2 cast speed is often the smarter call.
