I've watched a ton of players burn hours chasing Bottle Caps in the wrong playlists, and yeah, I did it too. If your only goal is the Hawker HX, you want fast eliminations, not "good" matches, and even something like buy CoD BO7 Bot Lobby chatter doesn't change the basic truth: PvP pacing is what slows the event down. Real opponents stall you out, play their lives, and reset fights. That's fun when you're warming up. It's awful when you're counting drops.
Why Endgame Beats Everything
Endgame is the one mode that actually respects your time. The AI comes in thick, and it keeps coming. You're not hunting for gunfights or sprinting across the map praying someone peeks. You post up, rotate with the wave, and you're stacking eliminations nonstop. That volume matters because Bottle Caps are basically a byproduct of kills. In my runs, it was normal to walk out with 20–30 caps in a round if I stayed focused and didn't overthink it. Do the math on the 100-cap requirement and it stops being a grind. It's more like a couple of solid sessions, maybe while you've got a podcast on.
How To Run It Without Getting Bored
Endgame can feel samey if you do it back-to-back. The trick is keeping your loop simple and quick. 1) Build for speed and sustain, not "hero" plays. 2) Stay near where the waves funnel so you're shooting constantly. 3) Scoop drops between lulls, then reset your position before the next surge. You'll notice your cap count spikes when you stop wandering and start treating the mode like a farm route. Also, don't get precious about loadouts—use what melts AI fast and keeps you moving.
Zombies As The Chill Option
If you want a break from the AI flood, Zombies is a decent second choice. It's slower at the start, sure, but it's steady once rounds pick up. You can train, clear, grab drops, repeat. It's also way less stressful with friends, and you're still progressing instead of wasting an evening in sweaty lobbies. What I wouldn't do is default to Warzone for caps. The match length, the looting, the rotations—it all stretches the timeline for tiny returns. If you're trying to be efficient, you'll feel that drag immediately.
Keep The Goal Simple
Farm the caps where kills come fastest, cash in the unlock, then go play the modes you actually enjoy with the Hawker HX in hand. If you're also sorting out other BO7 needs—currency top-ups, items, or quick services—some players use u4gm to handle that side of things so their time stays focused on playing instead of juggling grindy extras.
