Stepper only spins one direction

Hi guys,

So i have wired up my stepper motor driver (A4988) and I am having no problems with that in the down direction. It is when I use the Z-axis calibration page to pulse upwards that I have problems. I have measured voltage in both the step pins and direction pins on my RPi and both are as they should be when I pulse downwards, however when I pulse upwards, no pulse is created at the step pin, but the direction pin changes correctly.

So from this info, I believe that there aren't any problems with the setup of my A4988, but instead with the RPi or some problem in my settings or something? I have re-downloaded and flashed the NanoDLP ISO onto my RPi, and that has made no difference. I have also shifted between various different GPIO pins, but with the same results.

Thanks in advance for any replies :-)

Charlie

Re: Stepper only spins one direction

Looks like limit switch problem. Turn it off see if it makes any difference.
