Windows nanodlp update doesn't work

I was trying to see if the remote slicing works yet (does it?) and had the windows nanodlp installed to test the remote portion. When I run It there is an indication that there is a new version available but when I click the link on the top right it just takes you to the main nanodlp.com page. Is there a way to update the windows version? Is the main download link always going to be the latest or is there a way to get the beta windows version (again, trying to test remote slicing)?

Re: Windows nanodlp update doesn't work

Windows version does not have auto update feature.
To make remote slicer works, just install windows version and open it (No need to start display)

Open rpi nanodlp dashboard and add a new plate, windows version get detected automatically and the file get processed on windows and transferred to rpi.
I have not tested with windows (just linux) but my guess is it should works without issue.

Re: Windows nanodlp update doesn't work

What version of Linux is the binary for? I attempted to install it on my server running Fedora and it complained about the binary. Sure would be nice to compile when needed.

Re: Windows nanodlp update doesn't work

Windows runs but I never saw the nanodlp pi try and remote slice, tried the windows ip directly and auto discover. I don't really use windows so I was hoping to use the linux (mac would be nice). It looks like the server I have is 32bit. I will see if I can run it on my freenas which is 64bit.

For autodetect you have to use same computer which you want to do slicing on, to communicate with RPi. If it does not do so let me know.
I have worked on mac version recently but I need to use mac to compile for mac!!

Re: Windows nanodlp update doesn't work

First off, sorry about hijacking this old thread, but it's close to what I'm seeing.

I love the remote slicing, I am running into a strange issue though.  Not sure where I can find the logs for this.  The last slice never completes or is sent to the NanoDLP.  After a while I believe it times out and does the slicing itself.

Could you post log from the both side?

Where do I go about finding them on the Windows PC? Does the NanoDLP Py keep them in /var/log?
