Nanodlp with additional control parts

Hi,

Thanks for great software for 3d printer so that I'm trying to make DLP 3d printer with additional feature
which can generate 3 dimensional magnetic field with solenoid coils during the 3d printing.

So I have to control 3 solenoid coils with different phase and I have some questions to control it.

1. Can I control the coils through the Nanodlp or Raspberry pi?
  1-1. By modified Marlin firmware with custom board for Nanodlp (Nanodlp - custom board - coils and DLP printer)
  1-2. By manual code with additional MCU for Raspberry pi (Raspberry pi - MCU - coils <---> Nanodlp - official board - DLP printer)

2. If only 1-2 method can be possible, how to match or communicate with nanodlp and additional MCU?
    Could you have any reference or tutorial about it?

Hi,

Both way are possible.
For the 1.2. It depend on the communication protocol.
