No Z movement with Wanhao Duplicator 7

Hi,

I had the D7 working last week (though I never could get a print going), but when I returned to it this week I just can not get the Z axis to move reliably (if at all). I can jog the axis just fine in Creation Workshop on a windows machine and occasionally on nanoDLP, but not often and certainly not repeatably. I am using the firmware found here:
http://3dprinterwiki.info/wp-content/up … versed.zip from here: http://3dprinterwiki.info/wiki/wanhao-d … -firmware/ and the non-reversed found here: http://3dprinterwiki.info/wp-content/up … lpV1_1.zip

I have tried the following:
-Switch the limit switch
-Running the Pi off a bench power supply (the red light blinked a few times). Power is super stable now.
-Powered USB hub (never got that working)

I am under the impression that I can not use the stock firmware because of the need for a moved finish from the ramps board, and that is not included. Also, because I can move the axis under the creation workshop software, I know it is not hardware. Would someone mind checking the logs and letting me know what you think?

Thank you.

Moult

It looks like communication problem. You should not see Terminal EOF message. If you have arduino around, try change it and see if it helps.

Re: No Z movement with Wanhao Duplicator 7

I'm having the same issue :  SLAVE    Serial Communication Error EOF

However
My printer however is not moving with CW

And in addition act erratically:
When the printer is connected to the raspberry PI, there is no way for me to connect to nanodlp. It will reconnect as I unplug the printer.
Sometime the printer moves once or twice and stop again.
even happen to move and ignore the z/min sensor and force the platform on the vat.

Also tested cable and unplug things, but not result.

I'll try to revert the firmware tonight and talking with Wanhao team, but if anyone has any other suggestion for a solution, it will really help.
