Faulty Z-axis movement after lift

Good evening all

I am in the final stages of completing my printer build which is a direct control, bottom up printer running build 4550. I attempted a test print but it failed miserably.

I have subsequently tried to figure out what went wrong and discovered that the build plate moves too far down after a lift move has been completed. My lift distance is set at 12 mm (9600 pulses). Upon completion the printer then attempts to move down 18.94875 mm (15159 pulses) instead of the 11.95 mm and triggers my bottom end stop. This occurs on each and every layer.

I have removed all the code in the "before layer" box of the resin profile but it still occurs. It appears to be a hard coded movement in the background code.

Below is the status line from the printer.

Any help to get the movement correct would be highly appreciated.

Re: Faulty Z-axis movement after lift

I guess it is something to do with layer thickness.
Also make sure you do not have missing pulse (lower speed and adjust amp on stepper driver)
