1440p displays completely non-functional in newest builds.

The last 2 builds do not work with the 1440p screens common to DLP printers. Assigning the HDMI values that worked on 2000~ numbered builds makes no difference. Further, it is impossible to downgrade as the process crashes and renders NanoDLP unbootable.

Testing with a build from 2017 proves that the hardware is not at fault as the display works perfectly and displays as it is meant to. Is there somewhere that previous builds can be manually downloaded, as the automated system does not work, and I would like to find out which build is the latest that will function.

Have you tried latest beta? If you swapping SD images raspberry pi firmware changed lot, which should be considered.
