Infilltype Honeycomb bug

If I use as blank area color e.g. red following effect happens: There is the complete slicing level covered by honeycomb. The Object contour is gone completely.
Honeycombseems to work only with default color black.

I am working with latest stable version 4144.

Any idea?

Yes it does not handle edge cases, why you like to use red instead of blank?
Lots of edge cases should be handled as we use current layer color to handle honeycomb without allocating new memory

Re: Infilltype Honeycomb bug

Hi Shahin,

I don't understand anything in the answer.

Let me try again to describe my problem:

When I put under Slicer option the blank area color to any other color  than the default black (in my case RED 255;GREEN 0; BLUE 0) than happens the following: The slicer does not calculate the edge contour of the sliced part. The whole plate is covered with honeycomb pattern.

It worked in the versions before as it should.

Re: Infilltype Honeycomb bug

Yes, I got what you mean. To optimize performance of the infill, we are relying on color channels of the images. It is performance optimization, it create issue for cases such as your settings which changed blank area to red.
So to summarize it is expected that infill does not work for your case and it is design decision.
