Exec aplay is broken.

I just noticed that aplay doesn't work from custom buttons or G-code boxes but plays fine from the putty terminal.
I think it got broken a few versions ago.

This is my format:
[[Exec aplay /home/pi/printer/sounds/bleep_01.wav]]

Python calls work fine.

Re: Exec aplay is broken.

Nothing changed on Exec command, you should see error on activity dashboard if it fails. Please, check and let me know what kind of error it throws.

Re: Exec aplay is broken.

There is no error reported:

Debug    0    2020-07-18 22:08:16.808748    Gcode    Execute Command Without Waiting For the Result aplay /home/pi/printer/sounds/bleep_01.wav

Could you make a custom button to test functionality?
The fact that it's working from putty excludes other possibilities.

Re: Exec aplay is broken.

You can use custom button functionality on nanodlp. You can access it through URL: /setup/custom-buttons

Re: Exec aplay is broken.

Sorry, what I meant was:
Can you connect a speaker and test playing a .wav file with aplay to confirm?

Debug    0    2020-08-01 02:19:58.66468    Gcode    Execute Command and Return the Result aplay /home/pi/printer/sounds/bleep_01.wav
