Overlay for multi-cure not working

I recall this worked when it was first being developed....but my latest test model that I am doing in multi-cure doesn't seem to show the multi-cure times on the preview.
Maybe this was removed?

I would also suggest some sort of index marker be added to the actual printed plate...maybe reserve one edge or corner of the plate then
print an index marker (the marker should indicate min cure time model) printed for at least the burn-in in layers..

This in conjunction with the preview will make it easier to tell which iteration is cured at for what time...which gets confusing as how the plate is oriented
on the printer vs in the preview is sometimes at question and may vary by machine and maybe rotation settings.

Thanks for the continually improving software.

Re: Overlay for multi-cure not working

Maybe old js files are cached. if ctrl+shift+f5 does not help, open inspector's console tab. Retry it is probably throws an error, let me know the details of the error

Re: Overlay for multi-cure not working

Please, share a debug file and also let me know how do you slice the plate. Using remote slicing and etc?

Re: Overlay for multi-cure not working

Yes I use remote slicing
Both local and remote run latest Beta
I will retry using local slicer
I will attempt to get a debug file to you.

Re: Overlay for multi-cure not working

Using local slicer on RPi the multicure overlay seems to work fine...switching back to remote slicer causes overlay to fail.

there seams to be no errors in the log on the remote slicer...local slicer reports a forced garbage collection but no error condition.

What would you like me to send?

Also for just this circumstance I would like a check box in the advanced part of the plate setup to "use remote slicer" so that I can easily toggle
back and forth without having to go to edit the machine settings.

Re: Overlay for multi-cure not working

Hi all,
How is remote slicer used? Is this nanosupport? I am just selecting from nanodesktop to add plate and use the center pieces default.

I am using latest beta and stable version, looking for a way to reduce space between each print to allow more prints per run. With the standard 5mm(?) spacing I can only get two different versions on one run, but if I could reduce to 1mm spacing I could get 4 in x, if this worked in y I could get a second row. This would then be very useful.

I think Shahin mentioned this is possible to change - the spacing - but I can't see how. Please let me know where I am making mistakes.

Thanks!

Re: Overlay for multi-cure not working

Multicure Spacing is set up in the resin profile if I recall correctly.
Remote slicing is setup in machine settings. It requires a remote copy of nanodlp running on that machine and you put in the remote machine IP and port numbers for nano. It will then try to remote slice but fall back on local slicing.   I happen to have a fairly fast sever that is very under utilized so I put up a VM running Ubuntu and nanodlp. Works well.  You can also set it up on you PC ithst you use for modeling or desktop and use that as the remote.  All it does is speed up slicing but there is some issue keeping both machines version matched but not a hard thing to do and sometimes it makes trouble shooting a bit more challenging as in my original post.
