TV screen as a light source?

I'm looking to build a DLP 3D printer, but I'm wondering about using a HD TV monitor as my light source (got an extra 19" HD TV from work)

also, if I could be pointed in the directions of some plan on hooking up a Pi 3 to the NEMA motors that would be great - I can figure the frame working and main things, but hooking up the wiring is eluding me

Re: TV screen as a light source?

I think that resolution wouldn't be good enough and also intensity for resin hardening is questionable...

Re: TV screen as a light source?

I've seen some videos of monitors being used, but I'm not "all in" for the idea- maybe if it didn't work I'd switch to a projector later

My biggest problem at the moment is getting a good setup for the build platform and pi setup
