Start Display doesn't work on mac

I'm trying to get NanoDLP to work on my mac with a Wanhao D7. So far everything seems to be working, LED can be turned on and off via the Projector Calibration, Z-axis control works sort of (homing and +100 mm).

As the title says, clicking 'Start Display' on the NanoDLP dashboard does not start the display. OSX recognises the LCD of the D7 as SLC 1440x2560 and I verified that the LCD works (it shows the desktop image fine). What am I doing wrong?

Re: Start Display doesn't work on mac

"Start Display" starts opengl context and should display blank screen.

Re: Start Display doesn't work on mac

Could it be that the openGL context is not started because openGL support is deprecated in OS X 10.14.6?
