new beta 2591 time displayed is odd

Thanks for the regular updates...

Just updated to beta v2591 and noticed my newly sliced plate shows a bizzare estimated time....something like "~855.28832ms"

Actual time should be about 3hr 15minutes.

Old plates continue to show correct time.

Printing now ... will see what time I get after completion.

edit:

upon completion time was corrected on plate screen

next plate created showed the correct format but was wildly off...showing 7m48sec for what should be a 3h30m print
refreshing screen updated time to 3h24m32sec which is quite reasonable
maybe we just need a forced refresh after slicing is completed if possible...

Re: new beta 2591 time displayed is odd

Do you use dynamic cure time or simple cure time?

I have the same problem, and I do NOT use any dynamic option.

Re: new beta 2591 time displayed is odd

I have the same symptoms.

And the slice bar also shows that the slice is not complete.

But the actual slice is good

Re: new beta 2591 time displayed is odd

I have seen the incomplete slice and sometimes I have even seen where it appears there is no slicing started but it has based on the log.
I think that is due to variations in the Browsers....I see it much more with Safari than Firefox...but even FireFox does it.
Usually a manual refresh of the screen will get things at least closer to looking right...
I suspect that in several places the browsers don't refresh when they should..I am not sure what drives a refresh but in my limited HTML experience
having a client side refresh request usually forces things and helps....I sometimes have added a 2 second page reload to my dynamically generated
web pages to get them to reload and look correct...of course this can't happen continuously as it interferes with the user interaction but doing it just once after the page has in theory
already been loaded seemed to help....but I am doing all changes from the server side using shell scripts so probably alot different from how nanodlp works.

Re: new beta 2591 time displayed is odd

updated to Beta2601

created a plate using old model and resin profile, upload worked, slicing started, Print time showed 7m47s which is way to low, no preview was displayed (not even the flat black type).
Clicked refresh on browser window, a new printing was displayed 3h24m31s which is probably about right.  Proper green preview was displayed...still seems to be not well centered (high and to the right) but doesn't appear clipped.

Thanks for the updates

Thank you for your hard work.
But I still have problems.
1. Slicing doesn't seem to be working properly.
2. The last chapter is still not slicing
3. The slice progress bar does not appear
4. and the auto preview button does not work.

Could you share the plate you are trying to slice?

Also please try the latest build, it is a bit newer than what you have tested.

I'm testing it now ^^

Preview is now working properly. but...
The other symptoms are the same as before. One strange thing
Uploading a simple rectangle using a mesh mixer or other CAD will bring up the defective layer and the extrusion area of the layer.

Beta 2616 still shows the same symptoms.
This is strange from the start of slicing after the file upload is finished.
"The plate is not sliced yet."
The slicing progress bar is not visible.

After slicing is still "The plate is not sliced yet."

Re: new beta 2591 time displayed is odd

You mean all three still happens?

1. Slicing doesn't seem to be working properly.
2. The last chapter is still not slicing
3. The slice progress bar does not appear

Make sure your browser cache is empty, based on the shared debug file. It sliced except layer 750 which fixed on recent builds.
There is known issue for very small files, sometimes you need refreshing page to see real status of the page.

Good to know that.
Not sure why it so aggressively cached, usually not much changes on static resources and they get picked up after browser restart
