high temp pause

With the advent of large paraled, I think there is a need to integrate a function that allows you to pause for seconds
if the temperature sensor rises above a certain threshold, giving way to cool paraled and lcd,
this can have effect between one layer and another (as already happens with waiting after the climb)

To this can also be added a start for an additional fan

Re: high temp pause

It is a good idea. Do you monitor temp using RAMPS?

Re: high temp pause

no I thought to put a sensor on raspberry, you can also use it from ramps but I don't know if you can interface it

What kind of interface your sensor provides?

Re: high temp pause

I'm all for this!
And FYI, I have managed to produce a signal from RAMPS/Marlin when a temperature goes above a certain set-point and see it on a GPIO on the Pi. Quite simple and without any extra equipment.

It 'clear that doing so is not difficult (I put an example of how to do that already in the post), it was only to implement a wide range of use feature ready in the program ....

Re: high temp pause

Some sensor reading added to nanodlp. Hopefully it resolved this requirement too.

Re: high temp pause

Hello Shahin,
Is it possible to have the thermistor readings connected on RAMPS report back to UI? Planning to have UV lamp and ambient temp reported to back.

thanks!
