Using double stepper motor on NanoDlp

Hello everybody,
I’m trying to develope a new VAT system to bypassing the suction effect of the resin, but I need to pilot an additional stepper motor that works during the exposure of the UV light, it's possible to do it ?
I would like to use a ramps 1.4 or even better a cnc shield for Arduino Uno, could someone kindly give me some indication / advice about it?

As I remember muve3d firmware (marlin) used two motors. You can use shutter code box + delay keyword to send gcode in middle of layer printing.
