Z Home offset problem

I build a printer with grbl, nanodlp and have a z home endswitch on the bottom. But when i home it offsets from the endstop. And this causes extra distance between the buildplate and the bottom of the vat. When i set this offset to 0 grbl gives an error because the endstop remains active. Is there a solution to this problem?

Re: Z Home offset problem

I had a heck of a time with GBRL and had to go direct drive. Both being regrettable.

In the GRBL GUI you can change the Home Park Position and can set this to zero. Then the axis will stop at the end stop. Also disable the hard endstop machine freeze boolean in the GUI settings.

Regards,

Mo
