Dimming Problem

Hello Shanin

First of all, congratulations to the work you have been doing over the years. It is an amazing software.

I've been using the latest beta version (build 1984) and I have some questions about dimming.
My projector is an Optoma HD20 with 600h lamp usage and I've set the brightness on the projector to 0.

As you can see in the images bellow, using Checkerboard Dimming Type, 100% Dimming Amount Percentage and 3 as Wall Around Dimming, some straight lines appear in white when I set the contrast to maximum and in black when I set to 25%.

Also using Checkerboard and wall as 3, I set the Dimming Ammount Percentage to 35% and the problem persists as you can see.

The problem is solved when i use Homogeneous as Dimming Type, as you can see.

Do you know what is happening?
Whats the real difference between homogeneous and checkerboard?

I guess wrong HDMI output settings causing this. Also projector picture processing settings could cause it.

my RPi resolution was wrongly configured.
