Question about pixel dimming

Hi,
For a couple of reasons I am not using nanoDLP for slicing, I make my 3D models in Rhinoceros and then export the files to nanoDLP in .SLC file format. If I want to use infill and pixel dimming function will this work or I should export my files in .STL format and slice them in nanoDLP?

Re: Question about pixel dimming

If you have time, would like to know why you are not using nanodlp to slice.

Sure majority of the functionalities such as pixel dimming and infill are supported for SLC and SVG formats.

Re: Question about pixel dimming

Hello Shahin, Thanks for the replay. I am modeling in Rhinoceros and since my PC is fast enough, I prefer to export the finished 3D model as slc. I found this is faster than slicing in nanoDLP and in addition not overloading the RPi memory.

Hello color, you can configure nanoDLP's Remote Slicer and use your own machine to slice your parts without overloading the RPi memory, it is a very useful tool.

I am a jewelry modeler and I am using Rhinoceros to create my 3D models. Since Rhino3D is NURBS software, I have to convert the finished polysurface model to STL mesh for 3D printing. Then I just make one more step in Rhinoceros - export .stl file as .slc file and send it to the printer. I don't see any reason to use other software for slicing. This work fast and easy for me.
