Hello,
It will be great (for those of us which use macro lenses) if there are software compensation of lens distortion.

I had written some codes to handle the distortion. Lots of algorithms available to fix distortion which means no perfect way to fix it. Also it depends on lens type, each one has its own characteristics.
Photoshop and similar programs have access to manufacturers spec on distortion which we do not. And coming up with correct values to fix the distortion is not a simple job, much harder than mask creation.

Algorithms were heavier than I have expected. So at the end I abandoned the efforts.
