Ip address

Hi, I currently I used to use static IP address so I can connect to my printer without the need to use the cloud dashboard.
But sometimes I ran into conflict problem so I think it's not the perfect way.
also, I can't always have access to the internet to use the cloud dashboard.

So are there anybody knows how to find my printer IP without the help of cloud dashboard or giving it a static IP?

I guess something like the algorithm using nanodlp cloud dashboard would be perfect

I can use python to write script getting it for me if I know what I can use exactly.

Re: Ip address

There are couple of ways:
Give static IP outside of DHCP range, so you would get conflict.
Use dynamic IP but from your modem, reserve IP for rpi. It usually very easy to do on the most of modems out there.
Use upnp to find ip of your rpi. Usually network area of your OS should detect nanodlp and display it is IP.
