Shutter Control

I'm running the windows version and was wondering if I can have the shutter open once in the beginning of print and close when it's done? I want to prolong the life of the servo and since the images go blank between slices it doesn't need to open and close between every slice. I'm using RAMPS 1.4 with Mega 2560 and Marlin 1.01. Thanks

Re: Shutter Control

Do you send shutter related commands inside main gcode boxes or shutter gcode box?

Re: Shutter Control

right now shutter commands are int the shutter g code boxes, and as per expected the shutter opens and closes between each layer.

Re: Shutter Control

what i'm wondering is if I can make it only open once to print then close when done instead of between each slice image, I don't know where to insert the code for that to work

Re: Shutter Control

Actually we do support it, but it was only usable on rpi version.
I have update all version so you could change behavior on the setup page.
